SUMMARY The role of the System Administrator is to maintain, implement and support information technology systems for the purpose of keeping the business technologically relevant.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Responsible for all hardware and software systems and interactions between systems both local and remote to the business.
2. Aid in the creation, deployment and training of various applications designed to streamline business activities such as SQL SSRS and custom applications.
3. Directly support the internal staff and the external sales force.
4. Continually investigate, recommend and implement technological solutions that provide a competitive edge or reduce costs.
5. Must be able to function independently.
6. Some duties will require extended hours.
7. Various special projects as business needs arise.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS

Individual must be aware of the relevance and importance of their activities and how they contribute to the achievement of the quality objectives.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) is ideal. Practical experience in the following areas is required:
o Windows server O/S installation (2008+), configuration and administration in a centrally managed environment.
o VMWare/Hyper-V Virtualized Environment.
o Active Directory (2008+)
o Exchange Server/Outlook (2010+) installation, configuration and administration.
o SQL Server (2008+) installation, configuration and administration.
o Windows 7
installation, configuration and administration in a centrally managed environment.
o Hardware installation, troubleshooting and repair.
o Firewall/Switch/Router/AP installation and administration.
o Custom report development using EXCEL, ACCESS, WORD, C# and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
o User training and help desk support.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Must be able to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to co-workers and top management.
MATHEMATICAL AND PROGRAMMING SKILLS
Must be able to generate custom reports and spreadsheets by combining advanced mathematical concepts with Microsoft Office, C# or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) software.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.,) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is an administrative position. The majority of the duties are completed while sitting at the keyboard of various computers. At times the System Administrator will carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds. As needed the employee may need to work on a ladder and crawl under furniture to install computer equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
