Love INC of Greater Livingston County, a non-profit Christ centered and faith based organization whose mission is to partner with local churches and community agencies to serve and transform the needs and lives of members within the community, has an immediate opening for an independent contractor Event Planner to manage the development and logistical planning of the Le Concours de Livingston fundraiser event.
Qualifications:
Previous event management and fundraising/sponsorship experience
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Experience working with volunteers
Proven organizational and planning skills
Effective communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
Proficient use of email, MS Word, Power Point and Excel
Commitment to Love INC mission and Core Values
Pay Description:
Part-time Contractor (I-9)
Monthly Retainer of $1,500
Commission based with ability to earn 20% of gross revenue contributed from commitment of new sponsors.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
