Administrative Assistant - Marketing

Position Description:
This position is responsible for assisting the Customer Service Manager in managing client related activities.

Job Accountabilities:
Primary phone coverage (first to answer all incoming calls)
Filing of materials in general files area
Assist staff in creating a system for responding to telephone and written requests
Assist Office Manager in developing and instituting methods for quality control and accuracy
Ability to perform research tasks as assigned
May be called upon to assist with special projects and assume responsibility for the development, administration, and promotion of specific projects, as required
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Must have formal training/experience in office procedures and use of office equipment.
Must have the ability to communicate accurately and clearly both orally and in writing; pleasant telephone manner; able to "think on feet" when dealing with callers
Customer service oriented "can do" approach to work.
Knowledge of computers; specifically, experience in Microsoft Office is preferable. Must have superior organizational skills and accuracy.
Excellent problem solving and people skills also required.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
