District Insurance Agency Development Specialist


Job Description:
The Agency Development Specialist will recruit and develop agents appointed with the Farmers Insurance Group of Companies. Engage agent candidates in the agency opportunity, review their qualifications, conduct multi-interview selection process, and assist with all aspects of becoming a Farmers agent and/or opening a Farmers agency. This agent-facing role encompasses all aspects of helping an agent realize their goals.
Core job duties include (but are not limited to:
Manage the full cycle recruiting and onboarding process of all personally sourced agents and agency business owners.
Use networks, centers of influence and innovative recruiting systems to identify, develop and recruit high caliber talent.
Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies and passive candidate recruiting to fill immediate hiring needs, as well as generate a pipeline of candidates for future opportunities.
Review resumes, conduct initial candidate screening to ensure that candidates qualify for the position, and develop their interest in career opportunities at Farmers Insurance Group.
Ensure that candidate's agency is ready to open by coaching agents through licensing, staffing, business plans, cash flows, office branding, training, and appointment contracts.
Works as a liaison between the recruiting and training departments by assigning pre-training tasks to all new agents to ensure readiness for training.
Manage the licensing and company appointment process of personally sourced agents, agency staff, and District Office leadership staff for Property, Casualty, Life, Accident and Health insurance licenses, as well as Series 6 and Series 63 securities licenses.

Ideal candidates possess the following:
Prior insurance/mortgage/banking sales, training, and/or full cycle recruiting experience
Successful track record of achieving or exceeding goals in previous/current field of employment
Passion, great communication skills, self-motivation, positive attitude and competitive spirit
Strong sense of urgency

Requirements:
Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience
Active Property and Casualty licenses or willingness to obtain
Active Life and Health licenses or willingness to obtainEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
