Seeking individual with knowledge of polymers and plastic compounding activities to join a leader in novel specialty compounds.
Job Functions:
Utilize technical expertise and knowledge of plastic compounding to develop efficient new polymer manufacturing processes.
Work with the Research and Development team to validate polymer requirements including additives and fillers.
Verify process acceptability through analysis and hands-on testing.
Oversee production equipment layout including feeders, hoppers, extruders, twin screws, conveyors and granulators; verify ideal floor plan and modify as needed to accommodate process needs.
Qualifications:
B.S. in Engineering Discipline or equivalent.
Experience using process DOE development and evaluation.

years plastic industry experience with knowledge of specialty polymers and compounds.
Join a specialty resin and polymer provider and provide input into projects that service pharmaceutical, automotive and aerospace applications. This is a highly visible role which will be groomed for management. Starting salary to $110,000 with annual bonus, excellent medical, dental and vision coverage, pension plan and matched 401(k) contribution.
