Nurse Supervisor Rn - Villg

ADN or BSN
1 - 3 years of experience required
Provides professional nursing care to the organization's residents as prescribed by the physician, and/or requested by the residents' family, and in compliance with the state's Nurse Practice Act, any applicable licensure/certification requirements, and the organization's policies and procedures. Supervises the day-to-day nursing activities of the community and ensures that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
General Responsibilities:
Establish and/or maintain departmental procedures that support the necessary operational functions for the Nursing Department.
Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations, TSLC Corporate Integrity Program, Code of Ethics, and other policies and procedures.
Cooperate with other resident services when coordinating nursing services to ensure that the resident's total regimen of care is maintained.
Ensures completion of resident assessment prior to and upon move in, initiates needed services, and makes appropriate referrals for other disciplines. Completes periodic assessments and observes residents for changes in condition and reports changes appropriately
Responsible for care plan and case management, assuring appropriate care, supplies and follow through. Periodically updates assessments to assure accuracy of care plan
Perform routine charting duties as required and in accordance with established charting and documentation policies and procedures.
Initiates and applies appropriate preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative procedures and techniques and maintains communication regarding resident's care
Make daily rounds of your neighborhood/unit/shift to ensure that all nursing service personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN/LPN program.
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse in this state.
Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines
Must possess and maintain current CPR Certification.
Previous experience working in long-term care or with the geriatric population preferred.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Must lead by example and possess superior customer service skills and professionalism
Interpersonal skills to drive collaboration; excellent communication skills; strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
Possess a high degree of personal accountability, responsibility and independent decision making abilities with the skills to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures of the organization

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
