New Business Community Development Manager

This position is responsible for the strategic execution of member growth initiatives for the Credit Union in development and maintenance of relationships with new and existing employment groups/partnerships. Represents the Credit Union within the community and at corporate events to assist members and potential members in understanding the value of Lake Trust Credit Union membership and the benefits of our products and services.
What You'll Do
Responsible for executing business development strategies to meet the sales objectives outlined in the credit union's annual business plans. This may include but is not limited to, profitable membership growth, development of primary financial institution relationships improved share of wallet and increased acquisition of key products and services.
Maintain and be proficient in utilizing reporting and tracking systems in order to keep track of data and ensure its effectiveness in providing accurate statistics for Business Development analysis and activities.
Develop strong working knowledge of Lake Trust products and services.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with organizations and corporate partners that lead to increased growth for the Credit Union.
Initiate, develop and maintain positive relationships with targeted list of organizations to drive increased growth for the Credit Union ? may include telephone calls, email, and on-site visits.
Attend orientations, benefits fairs and public relations events and being able to conduct presentations when requested.
Work across business units within the Credit Union and with corporate partners to facilitate on-site visits and deliver presentations on various financial-wellness related topics.
Coordinate and participate in activities that promote a positive image of Lake Trust.
Gather information on designated organizations through research, contacts, members and potential members. Continually monitor organizations while providing recommendations as required.
Work closely with the Member Service Team and relevant Branch Managers to create and customize presentations appropriate for each targeted organization as required.
Work closely with community development leadership to continuously present, update and execute member growth and sales strategies using best practices, historic performance and sound judgment.
Maintain an agreed upon reporting and tracking system to ensure its effectiveness in providing accurate statistics for Business Development analysis.
Assist with special projects as assigned to include planning and administrative tasks.
Work extended hours to include nights and weekends based on business needs. Must retain flexibility to accommodate daytime, evening or weekend schedule.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field preferred
Two to four years sales or equivalent experience required
Proven record of closing sales required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
